1970 United States Proof Set

This set contains 5 coins, cent through half dollar. The half dollar is 40% silver and has become one of the hard-to-find dates of the Kennedy Half dollar collection - the reason being that the U.S. government did not make any half dollars for circulation in 1970.  All of these mirror-like proof condition coins are in the original plastic holder, contain the "S" mintmarks, and were minted at the U.S. government mint in San Francisco.
